It’s about that time of year for the annual “dudes trip”. We had such a good time last year that we decided to revisit Philadelphia for some drunken fun. Friends ask me “what do you guys have planned out?” To be honest we really never have a game plan. Yeah we have a few spots we want to visit here and there but as long as beer, food and good company is part of the game plan, then we are all happy.

Our first night we decided to stop by the Frankford Hall Beer Garden. How can you not have a good time with a 1 liter glass of Grapefruit Hefeweizen? It was amazing. After that we decided to bar hop and somehow wound up at 7-11 at 3am in the morning. That’s what I call a good start to weekend.

After waking at 12 noon the next day we decided to get our day started. Reading terminal market is always a nice stop for some good food. Even though I have eaten at a few places there I figured I would try something new and had a Philly cheese steak from Spataros.

Ubiq is a popular spot among fans of street wear which i just very so happen be. They carry a various assortment of clothing, sneakers and my personal favorite, toys. Museum of art was a requested location to visit by my friend so we could check out the Rocky statue. Yes we were those jackasses running up the steps like Rocky. We’ll I wasn’t but we conned my friend Mike into being “that guy”.

As if you can’t already tell I am a HUGE fan of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, so I always make sure a stop at Mac’s Tavern is made. If you weren’t aware Mac’s tavern is owned by Rob McElhenney aka Mac from Sunny. They have a decent selection of beer and the food is actually pretty damn good.

Just like the previous night we did more bar hopping and guess what? another 3 am stop to 7-11. I decided to document myself this time as if any further proof was needed.

All in all it was another successful trip. Till next time, Thanks Philly.
